There shall be one preceding slab benefit to domestic consumers (residential use) except for consumers above 4.0 HM3.
*Protected category to pay a fixed charge of Rs. 400/-
**Non-Protected Consumers to pay a fixed charge of Rs. 1,000/- upto 1.5 HM3, while Rs. 2,000/- for exceeding consumption of 1.5 HM3.
Protected Category:
Includes domestic consumer whose average consumption for the last 4 winter months i.e November to December shall be below or equal to 0.9 HM3.
Non-Protected Category:
Includes domestic consumer other than the one in protected category.
